How Acne Lower Self-Esteem?
October 26th, 2008 admin
Having acne can totally take away someone’s self-esteem. How he feels about himself will really affect his bearing. Instead of focusing on something more important, he becomes conscious of how the people around him perceive him. When this happens, he loses his self-confidence.
The way a person acts has a huge impact on how people see him. Small acne on one’s nose for instance, may not be easily discernible, but he may think otherwise. The key to being self-confident is feeling good about yourself. Without this, how you will perform in the real world will significantly be affected.
To preserve one’s confidence, it is important to maintain physical hygiene. Washing one’s face before sleeping is a simple regimen but this can go a long way as this can help prevent the growth of more acne.
People with clear skin must take extra care as well. Even those who may seem to have flawless skin may have acne without their knowledge since acne can form under the skin as early as two weeks before it gets to the surface! Since there is no cure, the best way to deal with it is to prevent it from surfacing.
When a person is confident of himself, it shows how sure he is at handling things at work or even with his personal life. One of the ways to boost self-confidence it is to take care of the skin. Acne may become one’s worst nightmare. That’s why it is important for one to prevent it as early as possible and/or treat the existing ones right away.
